VOCAL HEALTH FIRST AID

These sessions are for vocalists experiencing discomfort, unexplained changes in the voice, or who just want to know more about how to maintain excellent vocal health and lower the risk of injury over the course of their career. This accreditation allows me to assess and spot signs of dysfunction in a voice, and provide you with guidance and safe suggestions towards improvement. Think of this as the triage of your vocal health journey and if a deeper look is required I can also help point you in the right direction.

Since 2018, I have worked with a number of incredible artists in Toronto, and thanks to online capabilities, have extended vocal coaching services to my clients in other parts of Canada, the US and Europe. I will work with you on a personalized lesson plan as we work toward your goals and find out who you are as a unique vocalist. I have a background and experience in both pop and classical training giving me a broad knowledge of foundation for technique, and along with my focus in vocal health, I’m confident we can get you where you want to go. Being a recording artist, and live performer myself, I also love working on getting artists ready for their best performance yet.

If you are a recording artist, I can come to you and work with you in-studio. I will sit in on a vocal session and coach you through getting the best out of your performance.

If requested, I can also:

• Help you come up with background vocal and harmony layers to enhance the song.

• Work with you on creating a vocal comp (I can work in Ableton and Pro Tools).

• Tune a vocal in Melodyne.
